How important and economical it can be to use homemade household window cleaners at home. We must be convinced that it is an excellent idea and highly recommended not only for our health but also for the environment.

Using homemade household window cleaners, you will be taking care of your family. They also do an appropriate job on your windows.

You can be sure that these can be less aggressive with your windows, taking care and keeping them in good quality for much longer.

So, what do you need to make your homemade household window cleaners?

Here are some ingredients and how to prepare them.

Orange or lemon peel

These are highly used in the home, so instead of throwing away these peels, let’s use them as homemade household window cleaners.

It takes some time, but you can experiment and see the result.

Using vinegar, we leave the peels to macerate for an average of 15 days, after which time we remove the peels and place the mixture in a glass container with a lid.

When cleaning the glass, add equal parts of the mixture of maceration and water with the help of a spray bottle.

Then spray the glass with this mixture and rub the entire surface with newspaper.

White vinegar

With this product, we can clean as maintenance or remove dirt easily.

To remove stains or polish glass, mix 1 part vinegar with 5 parts water.

By obtaining this solution, you can use a spray bottle to apply it in the glass with the newspaper, which we simultaneously spread and dry.

Another way to remove hard dirt is using a glass and half of water with vinegar and lemon. Mix these ingredients well and add them to our sprayer, and repeat the previous step with the newspaper.

Vinegar and lemon are excellent corrosive agents, ideal for removing dirt from the glass. It is essential to remember that vinegar is a perfect product for cleaning, polishing, removing stains, and disinfecting. The good thing is that you have it at your fingertips.

Apple vinegar

This product is heavier than its partner, white vinegar. So it is perfect for removing dirt, especially tartar on glass and mirrors.

For this solution, you will need 1 cup of water, ¼ cup of alcohol, ½ tablespoon of liquid soap, a few drops of essential oil of the aroma you like, and of course ¾ cup of apple cider vinegar, our star product.
