How to clean a pet poo stain

Step 1: pack all the poop from the spot with a dustpan or with disposable hand gloves. This can be really irritating but it’s the first step you must take to clean your pet poo. If you use a dustpan, don’t forget to clean it up after cleaning the pet poo.

Step 2: To clean fresh or old poo stain, you need to make a mixture of warm water, hydrogen peroxide, baking soda, and dishwashing soap. You can also use OxiClean and warm water but this depends on the type of surface you want to clean. Pour a small quantity of the mixture on the stained area and leave for 3-5 minutes then clean it up with a damp clean dry cloth. Dip the cloth in a bowl of clean water to rinse off the stain and then clean the surface again until the stain is removed. You don’t have to scrub to prevent your surface from scratching or fading.

Step 3: After the pet stain is removed, you might also perceive some unpleasant smell in the house. Therefore, you should neutralize or absorb the smell with some commercial air freshener. A mixture of warm water and white vinegar will also absorb the odor. Spray some of it on the stain spot and allow to dry up.

Step 4: once the stain is completely dry you can vacuum the spot to remove any stain remains.

How to clean a pet urine stain

Step 1: to clean a fresh urine stain, you should quickly absorb the urine with a dry cotton rag. You will have to wash the rag when you are done with cleaning.

Step 2: make a mixture of cold water and white vinegar, then add some of the mixtures to the spot. Allow it to sit for a few minutes then clean with a clean dry rag. The vinegar will break the urine acidic compound and also help to absorb any unpleasant odor from the urine stain

Step 3: make a mixture of warm water and dish soap, then dip a microfiber cloth in the mixture and wash the stain spot in a circular motion. When all the stain is removed use a clean dry cloth and warm water to clean up the detergent residue and to dry the water completely.

Step 4: when the stain spot is completely dry then you should vacuum the place.
