Make sure you empty the trash can even before it get filled up. Only paper or plastic bag materials should be dumped inside the trash bin. No leftover food or snack should be thrown in the trash bin. If you keep your laundry bin along the entryway, make sure that all dirty clothes are neatly folded into it until when you are ready to wash them. You wouldn’t want visitors to perceive any unpleasant odor at the entryway.
Arrange the shoes and boots properly on the floor or in a shoe rack
The entryway is the part of the house that can easily get cluttered with shoes. Shoes should be properly arranged side by side on the floor. However, you can Keep a standing shoe rack or a copper floating shoe rack in the entryway and arrange the shoes neatly on it. A shoe peg organizer can also be useful. It will help keep the shoes arranged and even make wet shoes dry easily
If you love to have family picture frames in your entryway, don’t keep them as a pile on the table or on the floor. Instead, you can hang them tightly on the wall in a zigzag or staircase pattern. Your visitors will love to meet every member of the family just at a glance, looking at the photos.
