- De-clutter the room. Pack all toys and place in their right place. Separate the clean and dirty clothes and put them in the separate laundry baskets.
- Take out the toys that are washable. Wash and place in there right places.
- Dust all surfaces, and lampshade with clean soft cloth.
- Remove all items from the surface of furniture, dresser, bookshelf and dust and clean with clean wet cloth to remove stains and fingerprints. Arrange the books back on the shelf
- Dust the blade of the ceiling fan using a long-handle fan duster, clean with a wet clean cloth.
- Dust the wall, the ceiling lines and remove all stains such as crayon prints from wall. Use a wet clean cloth and deep in some cleaning agent mixture.
- Make the bed and arrange the pillows. Vacuum under the bed. Dry and fluff up the pillow.
- Shake out the dust on the rug area, wash in machine if its machine washable, sweep the floor and mop with appropriate materials. Vacuum the floor if you have a carpeted floor.
- Make sure that only what is needed are kept in the room
- Place a beautiful trash can at a place where it will not take much space and be easily accessible for use like under the studying table.
Cleaning solutions
All-purpose cleaner
This type of cleaner works on most countertops, sinks and stovetops. For granite and marble, stick to warm water and dish soap or a product made speci cally for those materials.
Glass cleaner
Opt for a streak-free formula to clean your mirrors, windows and other glass surfaces with less e ort.
Tile and grout cleaner
An acid-based, scrub-free solution works best on bathtub and shower tile, as well as toilets. You will want something mild for your tile oors, though, as acid can eat away at the tile itself and grout.
Wood cleaner
When cleaning wood, look for a polish made for the type of nish on your wood. Floors with a polyurethane seal need only a solution of warm water and a mild dishwashing soap. In general, though, you will want to use as little water as possible when cleaning wood.
